My New Nickname for Mitch McConnell: Bull Tits

Posted by

This week, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell stated he would not send a bill to the President, unless the President signals in advance that he will sign it.

This is, perhaps, the most feckless, irresponsible statement from any Senate Majority Leader in recent history.  He is essentially ceding the authority of his house, and with it the will of the people they are supposed to represent, directly to the President.

He has rendered himself as useless as tits on a bull.

This is so contrary to the intent of the Constitution, which specifically states that “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives”.  Well, we now have a congress which consists of one legislative house and one house which is now going to be a defacto agent of the executive branch, unwilling to do their job.

Fucking useless.

Fucking tits on a bull.

And its one step closer to tyranny.  According to Madison, as written in Federalist no. 47 “The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”   Furthering this point, he later quoted Montesquieu’s Spirit of the Law directly, “There can be no liberty where the legislative and executive powers are united in the same person, or body of magistrates”

What McConnell is doing is precisely what Madison warned against.  Once again, the GOP is putting party before country.  Over the past two years, it was the GOP controlled House engaging in abject sycophancy for Donald Trump, both in legislation and oversight; you see how that worked out for them.  You would think the Senate would learn from those mistakes.
